ABOUT ME
Hello! My name is Veronica, and I'm an artist with a passion for creativity and education. While I may not be a professional artist, I've been immersed in the world of art for as long as I can remember. My love for art knows no bounds, and I've dabbled in various mediums over the years. Painting and drawing are my go-to forms of expression, but I also have a deep appreciation for printmaking.
Art, for me, is more than just a hobby—it's a way of putting myself into the work, a means of bringing ideas and concepts to life in a visual form. It's about exploring my creativity and sharing my perspective with the world. From crafting intricate crochet designs to meticulously planning in my bullet journal, I find joy in every creative endeavor. In addition to being an artist, I'm also an art educator.
While I may not hold a formal teaching position, I've been actively instructing art students for about three years as a substitute teacher. Whether it's guiding students through a spontaneous Basquiat self-portrait lesson or crafting DIY art activities for birthday parties, I'm always excited to share my passion for art with others.
My journey as an artist and educator has been shaped by my faith, which serves as a guiding force in all aspects of my life. I believe that art is a reflection of God's creative power, and every piece I create is a testament to His limitless imagination.
I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts with Teacher Certification from the University of Texas at Arlington, where I honed my skills and discovered my love for teaching. Outside of art and education, I enjoy exploring new hobbies, reading books, and indulging in my love for coffee. Thank you for taking the time to learn a little bit about me. I'm excited to share my artistic journey with you!
